About The
Ubuntu Space
Our Story
The word “Ubuntu” is an ancient African word meaning ‘humanity to others’. It is part of the Zulu phrase “Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu”, which literally means that a person is a person through other people. It reminds us that ‘I am what I am because of who we all are’.
At The Ubuntu Space, we believe we are all interconnected in the most beautiful ways. Untold stories and unsaid words keep us apart. Whereas, unfiltered stories of joy, struggles, and perspectives bring us closer inwards and outwards.
What do we do?
Why do we not do what is good for us as individuals, and as a society? Humans are at the centre of all systems, issues and causes; we are the drivers for good but also often the barrier to where we need to get to.
How might we better facilitate agents of change and growth?
The Ubuntu Space bridges you to your personal growth and organisation’s outcomes by unlocking the potential of individuals, and removing barriers in collective work and growth.
We are creators of playful experiences and authentic space in which people better connect with themselves and each other. These experiences take the form of programmes and products which bring serious play right into your space, to your people.
The Ubuntu Adventure
Feel and reflect in the experiences of The Ubuntu Adventure, to nourish your body, mind and heart, as you ride the journey with yourself and others. Reconnect the disconnected, rethink the unspoken, and rediscover the selves.
